Dear Members,
I am honored to serve as the Fishers Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman for 2012. On behalf of the entire Board and staff, we thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for your Fishers Chamber.
This year brings a multitude of opportunities for the Fishers Chamber to have an impact on our community. The November election will include a vote on two key items. We will choose a candidate for the new State Representative district which has been created to solely represent the interests of Fishers in the Indiana Statehouse. As well, we will be voting on the very form of government here in Fishers, will we remain a town, become a city or adopt the hybrid model? The Chamber will seek to educate our 700 plus members and convey the powerful voice of our membership to the community and its leaders.
Our voice originates from the commitment of our members. I invite you to discover all the ways you can become involved in your Chamber. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Dan Canan, President and CEO, one of our dedicated staff members, or any one of us on the Board to discuss how you can have an impact.
We are fortunate to have such an engaged membership and environment for economic growth here in Fishers. Personally, I am inspired by the outstanding individuals that make up the Fishers Chamber. Our entire organization is committed to exceeding your expectations for the coming year!
All the Best for 2012,
Anthony Gutwein
