Fishers Chamber of Commerce is the first chamber in Indiana to
receive a US Chamber of Commerce 5-star Accreditation rating.

Fishers, IN – The United States Chamber of Commerce today awarded
the Fishers Chamber of Commerce with 5-Star Accreditation for its
sound policies, effective organizational procedures, and positive
impact on the community.
“Accreditation recognizes chambers for their high standards of
practice, full accountability to members, and steadfast commitment
to community,” said Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO, U.S.
Chamber of Commerce. "We are proud to recognize the Fishers
Chamber of Commerce and its members for helping to advance the
principles of free enterprise - the bedrock of this prestigious
award."
Accreditation is the only national program that recognizes
chambers for their effective organizational procedures and
community involvement. In order to receive Accreditation, a
chamber must meet minimum standards in their operations and
programs, including areas of governance, government affairs, and
technology.
“This process began months ago, but is a tribute to the foundation
and accomplishments of the past several years,” said Cynthia
Hauth, Board Chair of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce. “To be
officially recognized with a five star accreditation by the U.S.
Chamber, validates us a high performing organization. I thank our
very dedicated business community and staff for helping our
Chamber build the quality of life for our businesses and citizens
of the greater Fishers area.”

Local chambers are rated Accredited, 3-Stars, 4-Stars, or 5-Stars
by the Accrediting Board, a committee of U.S. Chamber board
members.
