Plans are well underway to adorn the lawn in front of the Town Hall with Liberty Plaza, a tribute to celebrate those who have served in the past defense of liberty and continue to serve in defense of security in our home land.

To Those Who Serve

To Defend Our Country

And Preserve Our Freedom,

This Tribute Stands.

 In this world that challenges our liberty at home and abroad, our country stands together.  The people of our community have and continue to do their part to preserve freedom and insure security for all Americans.  Our military actively protects on the forefront; our police, fire and first responders stand ready; and it is the responsibility of each and every citizen to be vigilant. 

The goal is to complete the project in two years, with a projected completion date of November 2009.  Funds will be raised from foundations, corporations, civic/service organizations, and individuals to reach the estimated construction cost of $350,000.
