Discover Fishers, Indiana and you’ll discover a place just minutes from Indianapolis that satisfies every facet of your life.  A community that’s pro-business, friendly and supportive.  A place where work, family and friends blend together into one orchestrated landscape.   Rich in culture, versed in education, filled with vision and steeped with Midwestern values.

Complementing our Town’s business amenities is the abundance of commercial and industrial development properties.  Low taxes, utilities and construction costs provide an environment where establishments can locate at a cost less than that of comparable markets around the country.

Fishers has been ranked by a leading publication as one of the best places to live in America.  Each year, many new residents proudly call Fishers home.  The wide range of housing gives residents many choices.  From multi-million dollar sprawling estates to family homes to studio apartments, young professionals and executives alike have much to choose from.  Retirees enjoy elegant comfort in patio and townhouses sporting a golf course or lake view.

Every four years, residents of Fishers elect a seven-member Town Council and a clerk-treasurer.  The town Council holds the legislative and executive powers for the Town, and the clerk-treasurer is responsible for matters related to the Town’s finances.  The Town Council elects a council president and vice-president each year.

The council is also responsible for appointing and overseeing a town manager and overseeing the Administration, Development, Fire, Police, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Wastewater and Information Technology departments.
